the swell didnt hang in there like we hoped but it sounds like everyone found a small wave somewhere,
i headed in a southerly direction and surfed knee to waist high waves but every now and then a
couple of nice bigger waves would come through, bit hard to make a video when its so small but at
least it had some punch

and just got an email from Micko who surfed just around the corner from a popular spot

TRIGG POINT TODAY

good to see the crowds finally dissapearing with a bit of colder weather,

only 5 out at trigg point today with messy head high onshore waves...

the rips are running and the banks are starting to form, should be some

good waves in the coming weeks, with the crappy conditions i took the

GOPRO out for a bit of a test and this is what i came up with

Dave Parkes did'nt surf this that often during the worlds , choosing instead to go with true and trusted friend of 11 years , a bamboo skinned board of similar dimensions he says he prefered in these conditions due to it's lightness . Lighter than the bomber???????!

you never know if you'll get lucky on a Saturday morning when the swell is only
1.2meters, sometimes it goes up a bit and sometimes it drops to dead flat,
today i found some waves but it was WINDY.....and bumpy...but with only
3 out for over an hour i'm not complaining..check out the vids..i am trying to
get this gopro thing sorted, not that easy first time round (best to view in full screen).
