I remember my first kneeboard was a twin fin with huge kneewells cast into the deck,
it had a red spray across the bottom and i've never seen it since i sold it back in about 1983..

that first board pic is pretty much a ski tail...back in 1975
ReplyDeleteDead right Beanz . Rod Ball ( an avid snow skier which inspired this shape ) went on to shape some of Ken Hortons early boards whose surfing I witnessed in '81 has had a lasting impression . Obviously influenced kneelo shapes for decades to come .
