its Saturday and yet another day with the forcast temp to be over 40,,,,,we have actually had
a good run of swell to go with the hot weather (but no banks in Perth) so i did the dawn patrol
4am out of town to beat the heat + crowds

as uncrowded as the pics look, only an hour later there were 80+ surfers in the water and it was getting
too busy......the outer reefs were really good too but with so many shark attacks and sightings this summer
i gave the long paddle a miss.

Windy Arse Wednesday

Couple around up north this morning, breezy, shifty and hard to get into but there was the odd rifling little keg to be had. One that made it to the beach a virgin was one of the best waves I've ever seen up there.Crowd was very mellow, most I saw in the water was seven. Unfortunately as the wind dropped so did the swell.

Flat? Not so much......

Was worth the drive this morning although the arse dropped out of that swell pretty quickly, still got a couple..... Check the tyre tracks just above the waterline in that first pic- bit more solid than it looks. Mind you it was the only one I saw like that.
