SECRET HARBOUR...Monday long w'end

with a southerly wind forecast the late call was to goto secret harbour..
conditions were better than expected, it was slightly bigger and better
early, the pics are from later (bit smaller) but still look ok

Next Event

The next event will be held on Monday September 27 at Lancelin/Bombing Range/Wedge... depending on best conditions.

Cocos

Just back from cocos, what a spot! Super chilled out place place to surf and if you like sans crowd this is the place. In the whole week I only had one session with anyone else out! The trade winds blow off shore relentlessly so you could surf all day, just had to watch the tides. Everything runs on island time so everything happens at a nice easy pace, no stress.....Only danger is falling coconuts.

Pasta Point?

So when you going to start chanting about your little surf junket to the Maldives Dean?Photos?Conquests?Received injuries?Dished out injuries etc. etc.Was there 15 years ago and rate it highly.Not a bad joint to load up a boat full of kneelos and run amuck.Anyone else been sneaking in a few they would care to disclose?

Gathering 1 August - YEEOOW!!

How good was the Sunday gathering????  the kneelo crew along with a fair few standup crew scored big time. All day off shore with waves in the 2-3ft range, with the odd bigger, but there were just peaks everywhere. Surfed for 3 1/2 hours and got some sweet waves, but not as good as some of the usual suspects .....Blair and Dean getting slotted off there heads. Blair reckons its the best surf he's had since Gnarloo! (he's only been back 2 weeks,,haha)
The only part of me that doesnt ache today is my left ear lobe, but it was worth it and I'm super stoked.

Good luck to Dean, whos jetting off for a 10 days solo trip to Pasta Point in the Maldives.....How he got the leave pass is a mystery. I'm off to Cocos island later this month, supposed to be sweet waves and sans crowd factor!!
